Hi Everyone:

I’m starting to get more queries lately about resumption of PPL league play.

Although the restaurants and bars are now open again, the current Covid 19 pandemic health restrictions still do not allow the playing of pool.

Since league play was only suspended and not cancelled, once we get the go ahead, the restart itself could happen almost overnight.

However, because of the low rate of Covid 19 vaccinations to date and the recent appearance of Covid 19 variants, the government and health authorities remain cautious.

On the plus side, with the recent and steady drop in new Covid 19 cases and hospitalization and with the Covid 19 vaccines becoming widely available again, one would hope that the health restrictions will be relaxed sooner than later.

I know that myself for one can hardly wait for when we can freely socialize again. I miss everybody.
