1. Match Format

• The Intermix Division play 5 rounds of 4 games = 20 games.
• Match start time is 7PM (or 6:30PM if it is a Double Header).

2. Team Kit
• It includes a Team Roster Form, Score Sheets, and a CCS Rule Book.

3. Team Name
• Be creative. In the meantime, we’ll use the Captain’s first name.

4. Team Roster
• We need the Phone Numbers and E-mail Addresses of all the players on your team so that we can register them with the Canadian Cue Sport Association.
• Please fill out the form on your first night and include it with the score sheet.
• Registration Fees are $20 per Session for all Divisions. The Captain is free.

5. Team Handicaps
• We use the 17 Point Game Scoring approach which gives every team a better chance of winning and having a more fun match.
• The game loser gets 1 point for every ball of their group not on the table. The game winner gets the difference between 17 and the loser score.
• Team Handicaps are based on Player Averages. If none, use the minimum for their Player Ranking.
• The lowest a Player Average can be is C 5.0, B 8.0, A 10.0, AA 12.0 and an unranked player is 8.0.
• The maximum Team Handicap per round is 12.
• When you’re short a player and using your ‘Team Spare’, use an average of 10.0 to calculate the Team Handicap for each round.

6. Score Sheets and Fee Envelopes
• Please be sure to fill out the Scoresheet receipt section as to who paid and how much.
• The Weekly Fees (per player) are $20.
• Scan and email the Scoresheet to pplted@hotmail.com or text same to (403) 510-2731 within 24 hours.
• Email transfer Fees to pplted@hotmail.com. For a security question, use – What game do we love to play? Answer – pool or poolpool.

7. Schedules and Stats
• Schedules and updated stats are posted on the PPL Calgary league website at cal.pplms.ca..
• Schedules for the full Session will be posted by week 4.
• If you have a ‘99’ beside your team in the Schedule, it means you have a ‘BYE’.
• For those that give us an e-mail address, we will send you a League Newsletter every week that includes the current schedule and latest stats.

8. Eight Ball Rules
• We use the WPA - World Standardized Rules that are available on the league website.
• All teams are asked to cut new teams and players some slack the first few weeks in the interest of good sportsmanship.

9. Good Sportsmanship
• Let the league office know right away if a player or team has showed poor sportsmanship.

Good Luck and Good Shooting to Everyone. LET’S PLAY POOL!
